Dr. Mike Birkowski joined LK Asset Advisors in May of 2020 as Medical Director for LK’s senior living facilities. He Mike has over 30 years of experience in long-term care and presently works for Team Health in post-acute care.  Within LK, Dr. Birkowski performs clinical supervision of all clinical staff, leads planning for development of new clinical programs, and reviews patient charts to get an understanding of each patient’s medical needs.

Mike graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 1976 and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Medical College of Wisconsin in 1979.  Mike is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and held his own private practice until 2018.  As LK Asset Advisors’ portfolio consists of several senior living facilities, Dr. Birkowski’s knowledge and experience are extremely beneficial in self-management of these properties.
